For people who work, run a business or rent to professionals: it's where the country's industry moves.
With an international airport, beaches at Omoa and Tela, and Lake Yojoa on the road to Tegucigalpa.
Houses in residential neighbourhoods near schools and shops, apartments for professionals, and commercial or industrial space near the routes to the port and to Ramón Villeda Morales airport.
The climate is warm all year and the valley is flat: ventilation, shade and drainage in the rainy season are part of the decision. For commercial use, confirm zoning and loading access.

CARACOL Real Estate publishes reviewed listings of houses, apartments and land in San Pedro Sula, arranges private viewings and supports owners who sell or rent. Each property's exact location is shared once a viewing is confirmed.
It depends on the location. Article 107 of the Honduran Constitution reserves land within 40 km of the borders and coastline, and land on the islands, for native-born Hondurans (and wholly Honduran companies); buying urban property in those zones is governed by special legislation. Before signing, confirm with a Honduran notary which route applies to you.
That the property is registered at the Instituto de la Propiedad in the seller's name and free of liens, that municipal taxes are paid and that the measurements match the survey. CARACOL reviews the published documents, but the deed is executed by a notary.
